Rest With Him

What are the foundational things in your life? Do you have any that are for rest? When it comes to the rest that we have in Christ and that we can have in Jesus daily, there are two foundational things that we must have in our lives. Without them, rest crumbles. 

Godly Limitations

So, what are your limits? Do you know them? Do you stay within them? When it comes to rest, God has given us limits that if we don't stay within, then we are going to live from a place of unrest and hurry. 

Jesus and the Sabbath

If you had a whole day that you did not have to do anything, what would you do? For us to rest and find the rest in Jesus that He promises us if we follow Him, we need more than just a few minutes a day. We need to slow down and rest with Him for a whole day. But, how do we do this?

Where would you say rest is found at? Do you think that our culture is one of promoting rest, a rest from within? Jesus promises us a rest for you soul if you come and follow Him and pattern your life after His. But is it worth it? How do we find rest in Jesus?
